FISHING Central Oregon and Beyond won a First Place award in the Books Division at the Northwest Outdoor Writers Association (NOWA) Excellence in Craft contest. Authors Gary Lewis and Brooke Snavely and publisher Geoff Hill (NOWA members) were acknowledged at the awards banquet held in Whitefish Lake, Montana in April 2006.
The fifth edition of FISHING Central Oregon and Beyond has been updated and expanded by 64 pages and includes over 500 color photos, many new waters, detailed maps and illustration that help to complete the overall picture of Central Oregon’s renowned waters.
Outdoor writer Gary Lewis, is the contributing author in this fifth edition. Gary devoted a lot of his time traveling to many new waters a little beyond what most consider Central Oregon. His writing and photos speak for his knowledge and expertise. Although Brooke Snavely and Raven Wing were not involved in this edition, much of their work remains from earlier editions.
